Enduring Outcomes of this Course: This trip spiked my interest in physical geography after experiencing the Cascades and White River West Sno-Park and seeing first-hand how impactful glaciers have been in building the world's landscapes.

Enduring Outcomes of this Course: I made a bunch of new friends, learned a lot about the impacts of gentrification, and different ways that geography can make the world a better place.

Enduring Outcomes of this Course: This course has given me more tools to analyze an environment and the people in a certain way to determine what makes it the space it is. It has also taught me the value of diving into the history of a place to truly appreciate what has been created.

Favorite Academic Moment in Oregon: My favorite academic moment was learning about Crater Lake through Ranger (DAVE?)'s presentation: how it formed, the crazy moss that grows there, the amount of snow they get, all those interesting facts that help make Crater Lake the phenomenon that it is.
Favorite Personal Moment in Oregon: Sticking with the theme of Crater Lake, seeing it, really seeing it after the fog lifted was incredible, especially after waiting with so much anticipation.
Oregon in Your Eyes: Oregon through my eyes has an extremely diverse climate, and the towns and cities we went to were just as different. The state itself is beautiful and rich in culture and places to explore. I hope I can go back one day.
Enduring Outcomes of this Course: From this course I have learned how to travel with a group of people in close quarters and walk away with new friends and valuable experiences. I have also learned that to truly appreciate a place, say the state of Oregon, seeing different aspects of the culture through different regions is critical and so is getting a taste for each place since food is a big part of an areas culture.

Enduring Outcomes of this Course: learning about the history of racial inequality in Portland and efforts to address it has forever altered my view of the geography of progressive urban places

Enduring Outcomes of this Course: This course showed me just how much a landscape can vary throughout a politically defined area, both physically and socially. I was also able to befriend people who I previously never talked with inside the Geography department.

Enduring Outcomes of this Course: I made a lot of new friends and had fun exploring the state. After learning about the diversity of careers a geography degree can get you on this trip, I'm excited to graduate this semester! Also, I'm now hooked on kombucha.

Enduring Outcomes of this Course: From time spent all over Oregon to class days working on research, this class has improved on my ability to travel with others while being educated on the surrounding human and environmental landscape. Being fully immersed in this state once again changed my perspective on how our Eau Claire community compares with the places in Oregon.

Enduring Outcomes of this Course: Learning about gentrification and being able to see it in person as well as the effects it has on a community was eye-opening.
